Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 12, 2026

At Elevare Health, your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it, and how you stay in control. We built Elevare to support you through your maternal health journey, and we take protecting your personal and health information seriously.

What Information We Collect

We collect information to give you the best possible experience. Here is what we gather and why:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you sign up. We use this to create and secure your account.
  • Health and pregnancy details: Information like your due date, pregnancy week, health history, and symptoms you share during check-ins. This helps us personalize your experience.
  • Wearable device data: If you connect a wearable (like Apple Health, Oura, Fitbit, or Withings), we receive health metrics such as heart rate, sleep, steps, blood pressure, and weight. You choose which devices to connect.
  • Check-in responses: Mood, symptoms, and wellness information you share through daily or weekly check-ins.
  • AI companion conversations: Questions and topics you discuss with our AI Health Companion. We do not store the content of your conversations with your personal identity attached. We log only anonymized metadata (like the topic discussed) to improve the service.
  • Health records (with your permission): If you connect your health records through FHIR/EHR integration, we may receive lab results, vitals, and visit history from your healthcare provider.

How We Use Your Information

  • Personalized health guidance: Our AI uses your data to provide educational support tailored to where you are in your pregnancy or postpartum journey.
  • Clinical reports for your provider: With your permission, we generate structured reports from your health data and send them to your healthcare provider through secure FHIR/EHR integration. These reports are flagged for your OBGYN to review.
  • Proactive health insights: We analyze trends in your wearable data and check-ins to give you timely, helpful information (for example, noticing changes in your sleep patterns or blood pressure trends).
  • Service improvement: Only if you opt in, we use anonymized usage patterns to make Elevare better for everyone. This never includes your health data or personal information unless you separately consent.

When We Share Your Information

We never sell your data. Here are the limited cases where we share information:

  • With your healthcare provider: When you connect your health records or enable provider reports, we share clinical summaries through secure, standards-based FHIR integration directly into their medical records system.
  • De-identified research (opt-in only): If you choose to participate, we may share data that has been stripped of all identifying details for maternal health research. Both consent flags (product improvement and de-identified research) default to OFF, and you control them in your privacy settings at any time.
  • Safety escalations: If our AI detects a potential safety concern (red-flag symptoms), we route that alert to your care team so a human clinician can follow up with you. This is to keep you safe.
  • Legal requirements: We may share information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

How We Protect Your Data

We use strong security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest for all personal and health data.
  • Access controls that limit who can see your information to only those who need it.
  • Audit logging to track how your data is accessed and used.
  • Healthcare privacy practices. We follow industry standards for protecting sensitive health information, including encryption and access controls.
  • AI conversation privacy. We never log your messages or our AI responses with your personal identity attached. Only anonymized metadata (topic, timestamps, safety flags) is recorded.

Your Rights

You are always in control of your data. Here is what you can do:

  • Access your data: View all the information we have about you through your account settings.
  • Export your data: Download a complete copy of your data at any time from your privacy settings.
  • Delete your account: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data from your privacy settings. Once deleted, this cannot be undone.
• Change your consent: Update your data sharing preferences at any time. Both sharing options default to OFF and are entirely optional.
  • Disconnect devices: Remove any connected wearable or health record integration at any time from your account settings.

Children and Minors

Elevare is designed for adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
